SITAMS, Chittoor
Organised a 2 Day workshop on FOSS at SITAMS ( Sreenivasa Institute of technology and management studies ) covering the basics of GNU/Linux ,installation ,usage of GNU/Linux. A lab session where students where taught how to compile "c,c++ , Java programs" on a Knoppix livecd . Also a brief introduction to python was given to students. SKEC,Khammam
Organised a 1 week workshop on FOSS and projects in Qt,LAMP using FOSS at SKEC ( Sree Kavitha Engineering College) The students started working on 1 UI design and 2 web designing projects using FOSS. Students from want a talk on telugu localisation and basic GNU/Linux usage . Plan to organise a event involving students of 3 college's . latest : It has been postponed . The are willing to do it next semester.

Plans to organise a teacher training program where the faculty needs a introduction to basic GNU/Linux usage and an introduction to LAMP stack.

Discussions going on for a workshop/session for students involving a specialisation either in LAMP stack ( including python ) or a course in advanced networking principles . Plan to organise a Lab incharge training program for basic GNU/Linux usage for desktop and server needs . The HOD of CSE department is willing to organise it and support the FOSS movement.
